 Joel

Joel, born in Switzerland in 1993, began his career as a carpenter, but in 2022 he moved to Fuerteventura to make more room in his life for his true passion – surfing.

Joel had his first go on a surfboard in Taghazout in 2017, and ever since then, his fascination with the sea has had him firmly in its grip. It has become not just a hobby, but an integral part of his life – a source of constant motivation and self-improvement. It is with joy and pride that he can now call himself part of the Nalusurf team, where he shares his enthusiasm and skills with others. With his dedication to the sport and the sea, he inspires beginners and advanced surfers alike.

 Ralf

Ralf is the founder and surf instructor at Nalusurf. He is a sailing instructor (catamaran, dinghy – VDWS, WWS), windsurfing instructor (WWS), and, of course, surfing instructor (ISA, AS, FCS, WWS) and also really enjoys diving (Advanced Open Water Diver). Having grown up in Hamburg, he came to the sport via sailing and windsurfing Surfing. He has already travelled halfway around the world and has worked as a surf instructor in places including Australia, Costa Rica, Panama, Barbados, Nicaragua and the Canary Islands. He now brings the experience he has gained over 30 years to his lessons. He shares his knowledge with his relaxed and friendly manner. Ralf is also a qualified beach lifeguard (RLSS), which enables him to guarantee the highest standards of safety for his surfing pupils.

 Frida

Frida is responsible for organisation and administration within the Nalusurf team. In 2012, she travelled from Sylt to Fuerteventura in a VW campervan for „just a short holiday“. However, the island, with its stunning beaches and fantastic waves, quickly became her new home. She was particularly taken with the quiet little village of La Pared, with its impressive surfing cove, right from the start. Alongside various other water sports, surfing is her greatest passion.
