 Joel

Joel, born in Switzerland in 1993, started his professional career as a carpenter but moved to Fuerteventura in 2022 to give his true passion – surfing – more space in his life.

Joel experienced his first time on a surfboard in 2017 in Taghazout, and since then his fascination for the sea has had a firm grip on him. It has become not just a hobby, but an essential part of his life, a source of constant motivation and self-improvement. Today, he is proud to call himself part of the Nalusurf team, where he shares his enthusiasm and skills with others. With his dedication to the sport and the sea, he inspires beginners and advanced surfers alike.

 Ralf

Ralf is the founder and surf instructor of Nalusurf. He is a sailing instructor (catamaran, dinghy – VDWS, WWS), windsurfing instructor (WWS), of course surfing instructor (ISA, AS, FCS, WWS) and also has a lot of fun diving (Advanced Open Water Diver). He grew up in Hamburg and came to surfing via sailing and windsurfing. He has travelled half the world and worked as a surf instructor in Australia, Costa Rica, Panama, Barbados, Nicaragua and the Canary Islands. Today he brings 20 years of experience to his lessons. He imparts his knowledge in a relaxed and friendly manner. Ralf is also a qualified beach lifeguard (RLSS) and can therefore guarantee the highest level of safety for his surfing students.

 Frida

Frida is responsible for organisation and administration in the Nalusurf team. In 2012, she came to Fuerteventura from Sylt in a VW bus ‘just for a short holiday’. However, the island with its fantastic beaches and great waves quickly became her new adopted home. The quiet village of La Pared with its impressive surf bay particularly appealed to her right from the start. Alongside various other water sports, surfing is her greatest passion.
